With the added UV system, the Bioforce with UV helps to clarify your water more efficiently than with just the original Bioforce system.
Teamed with the appropriate pond pump the Bioforce will improve water clarity, remove unwanted solids from the water, and convert dissolved organic and chemical fish waste into harmless compounds.

 Cyprio Ecocel Filters serve two main purposes.
Firstly they act as a mechanical strainer for debris and clumps of algae, removing these from the pond.
Secondly they create a home for billions of beneficial bacteria which digest pollutants as the water passes over them.
The biological filter contains media of very high surface area to create a habitat for very high concentrations of bacteria.
The system should be run 24 hours a day to keep the bacteria supplied with pollutants. When used with a Hozelock Cyprio UVC, the Ecocel carries the Clearwater Guarantee |

 The Cyprio Ecostar is the affordable answer for clear and healthy water in garden ponds.
Unlike the Ecocel biological filter, the Ecostar contains an integral ultra-violet clarifier in the lid.
Three process take place in the filter:

 Compact, multi-stage low maintenance, the Green Machine Pond Filters incorporate brushes and bio-cartridges for thorough mechanical filtration. Spray bar aerated water passes first through brushes which remove coarse and medium-sized solids, prior to secondary fine filtration through bio-cartridges, to then exit via underlying plastic bio-media to the pond.
All media surfaces within this filter work biologically. Plus, like all other Cyprio external filters, the Green Machine filters are performance guaranteed when used with an integral Cyprio Ultra-Violet Clarifier (UVC).

 This new biofilter from Hozelock Cyprio called the Hozelock Cyprio Trinamic is a high performance biological filter designed for those larger ponds up to 5,000 gallons and especially those larger ponds when stocked with a large mass of pond fish.
Trinamic three stage cleaning process has pond water passing through venturis which add air into the water. The water then enters into the filter chamber where it vigorously flushes through K3 bio-media.
Beneficial bacteria contained in K3 break down soluble pollutants efficiently. Dead bacteria and pond debris are then removed via a “moving bed” that rotates inside the filter into second stage cleaning where the water passes through foam media removing solid debris.
In stage three, the water passes down through the foam media into Cypripak bio-media then is discharged back into the pond.
